For vinyl enthusiasts, this boutique shop in Suzhou’s historic Gusu District has a good selection of Cantopop, classic rock, jazz, soul, original movie soundtracks, hip hop, classical, mainstream rock & pop records, and more.

On the ground level is the actual record store, a coffee shop, a decent selection of chilled bottled beers, a little seating area, and some merch (a rack of music-related t-shirts).

Upstairs is a showroom and lounge area showcasing Pro-Ject Audio Systems if you are looking to pick up.a vinyl record player.

The vibe in the shop is mellow and chill. you can just drop by, do some record shopping, look around, and enjoy a coffee or beer. Their iced americano was good and is packaged on-site ice cubes and all in a nifty little aluminum can.

The selection of records is not extensive by any means – you can probably make through their entire stock in an hour or two, but you can probably find some gems. They are the same company as Hoyo Vinyl, the camping gear store next door, which is also worth stopping in and checking out. Gorilla Vinyl is located at 95 Jinfan Rd (at Chuangxin St) in a hip area of Gusu District with good coffee shops, bakeries, and other interesting boutique stores nearby.
